3 January 2009


Yesterday I was in Flagstaff and I got into Crossfit Flagstaff for their 9 am class. Wow what cool people! I had a great workout and their gym is hella nice. They even posted a couple pics of me on their website!! Check it out at www.crossfitflagstaff.com. I am now in Denver taking a break. I will leave again tomorrow and I will try to make it to Arkansas. We shall see...

Crossfit One World 30 Dec


I got into Crossfit One World yesterday and today. It felt so good to get back in the gym!! Got a new shirt that says on the back "Fit as F**k!" I knocked out some good workouts, seen hella family and had a great time with my kids. I am very thankful to be here. I am also thankful for all my boys that are still in the box. You guys are the shit. And I do miss chillin at the donkey barn with all you mofo's. Happy New Year to all my boys still deployed!!!

Snow in WA sux


So I am still here in WA due to my car needing a new tranny. And now I am waiting on it to be delivered to the shop. So maybe Tuesday. I did make it to Rainier Crossfit tonight to get my first workout in of the week. I know, I slacked a little. Whatever, I didn't have a car all week. BTW I love mexican food!!!

So I went to Crossfit Seattle for their Saturday olympic lifting class. Then I went to the best breakfast cafe in Seattle, The Dish. As you see above, I got my second tattoo. Got it done last night at Off The Wall Ink in Tacoma.

Today was the first day I had done the barbell complex. I liked it. Of course my forearms and wrists were on fire, but it ended up being a great workout. And yes that is blood on my shirt. I popped myself on the chin with the bar on round 3. Good times.


5 rounds of 7 reps of:

barbell complex- deadlift into hang clean into front squat into jerk into back squat into jerk back to the ground on a touch and go. During the reps you are not allowed to put the bar down. If you do, the round is DQ'd.

Ya I had to practice it a few times before I got the motion.

rounds 1-4 95#, round 5 125#, and round SIX 15#. BONUS!!

Chipotle Burrito


So today I learned that a Chipotle burrito, N.O. Explode, and Crossfit don't mix. I was suckin' on the workout Crossfit Lacey Athletic Club had scheduled. But still got it done!!

Been a minute...


So coming home has kept me much busier than I thought. But I'm back and will be making more regular posts. I have been working out even though I haven't made posts. I have worked out at Crossfit Seattle, Crossfit Lacey Athletic Club, and at the newly improved McVeigh Fitness Center at Ft. Lewis. Today I was at Crossfit Seattle. Coach Scott got me good after two rest days. Hahaha


EMOTM for 20 minutes:
Dumbell hang squat cleans X 5
Burpees X 5

13 rounds with 50# dumbells
7 rounds with 35# dumbells
